What Is Your Essence?

Your essence... Long story short... it is what you like. 

If you don't like something or don't like what someone does, there is a reason. And it's meant to be apart of your essence. 

Listen to it. 

Who you are is determined by the actions you decide to choose. If you decide to not do actions that align with you, then that gives rise to the reason why you aren't happy. You aren't being who you are meant to be. This include every single tiny ass action too. Even the ones you think are "meaningless". They matter too. 

Anxiety and depression are merely signs of growth. Nothing but. The medical industry is dependent on selling you, not curing you, so in that case, you have to cure you. Nobody else can. The only way to do that is to know what you like and what you don't... And I promise you, at the beginning of your journey, there is a shit load of stuff that you don't like, so you got to keep pushing forward to know what you like, instead of what you don't like. 

Little piece of advice for finding your essence is to completely start a new life. That is, if you have a life that you are not happy with, then the best way to fix that will be to start new. At the start of bettering yourself, it may seem like you don't need to start a new life, and that is because improving doesn't seem like you are living a false self, but a lot of the time, if you are improving your life around certain people, and they are not supporting you, that means you are trying to break free of the false self your are living. Eventually when you break free, you will see that you are outgrowing everyone around you, and in order to do this, you will have to let go of every belief you thought you needed to keep hold of, and that is because those beliefs are no longer serving you. They aren't what makes you, you. 

Realize that everything you are is determined by your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and actions. Actions are what alter the thoughts, which alter the feelings, and in the end, the feelings alter the beliefs. It may seem impossible to change to be better, but it is the only way to be truly happy with who you are, otherwise you will be stuck in the standard societal way of always categorizing yourself with a mental illness (or several) and being a slave to your own mind because you decide to be a victim instead of a survivor. 

The choice is yours. Not your parents. Not your "friends". Not your "family". Your life is only determined by you and you alone... which determines who you decide to be and who you are. Choose wisely. Every second you live is a chance to completely change your life, and if you decide to not, then you will live in a hell of your own making.
